How To: Activate licenses with a license server
To use licenses provided by a license server, you need to perform the following steps:
Install a license server in the CODESYS Development System or on a Linux controller.
Activate the license of the product which you purchased on the license server.
Use the license on the licensing target.
This chapter provides examples of how to activate and use a license on a network license server. In the case of a network license, the license is not located on the same device as the licensing target.
