How To: License an OPC DA Server

These instructions explain how to license an OPC DA Server. To do this, perform the following steps on the computer where you want to install the license.

  1. Open the CodeMeter License Central WebDepot in your browser.

  2. Enter the ticket number and click Next.

    The license is displayed in the Licenses dialog.

  3. Click ACTIVATE LICENSES.

  4. In the Available Licenses – Select the Container Type for Your Licenses dialog, select an "old" CmActLicense container. Click the container entry. (The firm code of the old CmActLicense container begins with "5".)

  5. In the Available Licenses dialog, select the container with the number 32xxx-xxxxx and click ACTIVATE SELECTED LICENSES NOW.

    The OPC DA Server is licensed on your computer.
