Command: Logout – Safety

Shortcut: Ctrl + F8

Call: Online menu

Function: Depending on the application to which the developer is logged in and depending on whether the safety controller is in safe or debug mode (states of the safety controller), the following variants arise:

  • The developer is logged in to the current boot application and safety controller is in the safe mode:

    • The online connection is ended.

    • The boot application continues to run

  • The developer is logged in to the application, which is in debug mode (download application or boot application), and a boot application is stored on the safety controller:

    • The application is unloaded.

    • The developer is prompted in a dialog whether or not the stored boot application should be loaded and started.

In this case, the debug release is terminated and the safety controller switches to safe mode.

  • The developer is logged in to the application and there is no boot application on the safety controller:

    • The application is unloaded.

Logout by the runtime system in case of error

If logging out takes place automatically by the runtime system in the case of an error, then the temporary download application is terminated and, depending on the device, the boot application is not automatically started.
