Creating or editing a setup configuration file
You can create a CODESYS installation in a setup configuration file. The file has a textual format with the file extension .installation-config. The file entries describe the applied CODESYS version and the included add-on versions.
To create or modify a setup configuration file, select the Create Setup Configuration File command and follow the wizard. You can use the command either in the main window of the CODESYS Installer in the 
menu under Installations or in the tile of an existing installation in the menu under the 
button.

Tip
When modifying an existing installation, you can also use the Export Configuration command to create a setup configuration file or use the Import configuration command to load an existing one from the file system.
