Function: Manages the special settings of an installation

Call: Installations view. Each installation has its own Change command in this tile there.

Special settings of the installation

Version

Name of the installation with version number and platform information

Location

Location of the installation

You can open the location in Explorer. Click Browse to do this.

Channel for Setups

Service channel for setups

No connection

If you do not want any notifications about new CODESYS versions, then you can cancel the connection to the setup portal. You will not be notified about new versions, so you can, for example, keep the version status of your installation fixed without any undesired update reminders.

Prereleases

Prereleased versions are available on this channel.

Select this channel for experimental use with prerelease versions.

Channel for Add-ons

Add-Ons

Input field of the search term. The list of add-ons is filtered accordingly.

  • _inst_img_addon_filter_plus.png: Only add-ons in this category are displayed.

  • _inst_img_addon_filter_minus.png: The add-ons in this category are hidden.

Installed

Lists all currently installed add-ons

You can select an add-on, and then a description and the Uninstall command are displayed to the right.

Command: Uninstall

Uninstalls the add-on selected in the Installed list.

Browse

Lists all available and compatible add-ons which have not been installed yet

You can select an add-on, and then a description and the Installed command are displayed to the right.

Updates

Lists all currently installed add-ons for which at least one update is available

You can select an add-on, and then a description and the Install command are displayed to the right.

Command: Install

Installs the add-on selected in the Browse list or Updates list.

Install File

Opens a file picker dialog so that you can select a package

When you confirm the dialog, the installation of the package begins. Confirm the license agreements and the signature information. During the installation, you can notified about the progress. The installation has finished when the Task "Package Installation" completed message is displayed.

Export Config

Opens a file picker dialog so that you can create and save a configuration file. The file contains information about all settings of this dialog.

Import Config

Opens a file picker dialog so that you can select a previously stored configuration file. The file contains information which is used to preset all other settings in the dialog.
