View: Installations
CODESYS Installer
Function: The view provides information about the installations of CODESYS Development System which are available on your system and helps with installations and updates.
Registered sandbox installations are also displayed as tiles. They are highlighted in color and marked with the icon.
Call: menu in the main window of the CODESYS Installer
Button: Update CODESYS | Indicates that a new service pack of CODESYS is available When you click the button, the installation operation of the newest version of CODESYS begins automatically. |
Button: Add Installation | Opens the New Installation dialog |
| Opens a menu with the following commands: |
Name of the installation | CODESYS Provides information about which service pack is installed for which processor architecture Example: CODESYS 3.5 SP17 (64 bit) |
Number of installed patches | Provides information about which patch is installed Example: |
Button with a red number of a patch | Provides information about which new patch is available Example: When you click the button, you can stat the installation operation. |
Button: Start | Starts the execution of the selected CODESYS installation |
Button: Change | Opens the configuration view of the add-ons for this installation There you can manage the location, the channels for setups and add-ons, and the add-on configuration. |
Button: Create Sandbox | Opens the dialog for selecting a directory in the local file system which will be used as the root directory for the new sandbox. As soon as the selection is confirmed, the sandbox creation is started automatically and the Create sandbox dialog opens. You can see the creation progress in the box. Cancel is possible. Note: The command does not create a "clean sandbox". |
Button: Duplicate sandbox | Only available in sandbox tiles Opens the dialog for selecting a directory in the local file system where a copy of the sandbox should be stored. |
