Table 1. Default Repositories
Channel for Setups / Channel for Add-ons | Service channel for setups and add-ons (default setting for a new installation) [None]: No connection If you do not want any notifications about new add-on versions, then you can cancel the connection to the add-on portal. You will not be notified about new versions. For example, you can keep the version states of your add-ons frozen without unwanted update reminders. Releases: Released add-ons are available on this channel. Prereleases: Prereleased versions of add-ons are available on this channel. Select this channel for experimental use with prerelease versions.

Update Mode | Filters for the types of updates to be provided: All None Code-identical Security-relevant: Only updates with security-relevant contents which do not cause a code change. Security-relevant: All updates with security-relevant contents. Updates which also cause code changes are indicated by a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark. Code-identical Update: Only updates which do not cause a code change.

Language | Select the language for the user interface of CODESYS Installer. A change will only take effect after a restart. NoteWhen you start CODESYS via CODESYS Installer, CODESYS opens with the language set here. When you start CODESYS via the shortcut on the desktop, the language set in the CODESYS options is used. |
Table 6. Sandboxes
Sandbox directories | Paths of the root directories of sandboxes on the computer. Clicking opens the dialog for searching in the local file system. With , you can remove the entered sandbox from the list. For more information, see: Creating and Using Sandboxes |
I understand that...potential security risk | : After clicking on the button, you can search for a sandbox directory in the file system and add the sandbox to the list. This sandbox is then available, as with the Register sandbox command, for installation on the computer.

Excluded sandbox directories | After clicking on the button, you can select a sandbox root directory in the local file system and enter it here. Excluded sandboxes are not displayed in the Installer. |

You can customize the channels individually for existing installations. To do this, click the Change button in the respective tile.
