Command: Add Installation
Function: The command configures and starts the installation of a self-contained CODESYS version including the add-ons which you have selected. The New Installation dialog opens for this purpose. You can choose between an express installation from an existing configuration file and a manually configured installation.
Call: Button in Installations view and Settings view
Tip
Installations do not affect each other.

Express | Express: The installation is created from an existing setup configuration file. The Next button opens a dialog to search the file system for the configuration file |
Manual | You configure the installation manually. After clicking on the Next button, the configuration dialog opens. There you select the installation parameters described below: |

From an existing installation | Opens a list box with installations which are exist on your system. You can select an installation to read its add-on configuration. |
Cancel | Discards the settings and closes the dialog |
Next | Opens the dialog Confirmation Required. If you want to install as configured, click OK confirm. The Installer calls the installation wizard. There you confirm the license agreement and the reading of information. Select a target folder and a setup type. The installation is started. |
