CODESYS Depictor Viewer (unlicensed)
In the CODESYS Depictor Viewer (free-of-charge CODESYS Store International product), you can display Depictor objects are displayed and populated with local variables.
Note
With the CODESYS Depictor Viewer. you cannot add, edit, or delete any element geometries, positions, or relative correlations (pose transformations).
To create your own Depictor objects or 3D models, you require a licensed version of the CODESYS Depictor-Editor.
The CODESYS Depictor Viewer comprises a 3D view on the right side of the screen and the expandable views (1) Tree, (2) Properties, and Camera on the left side.

Hidden windows are available on the left edge of the viewer as tabs (5). Using the and
buttons, you can pin or unpin a window in the view. As in CODESYS, you can rearrange a window in the viewer (or editor) by dragging the title bar.
Inside a window, you can show or hide sections by means of the and
buttons.
Tree view
The structure of the 3D model becomes a tree structure with pose and element nodes here. In the viewer, you cannot add new poses or elements. When you select an element or a pose in the tree, it is highlighted in the 3D view, and the edited properties appear in the Properties view.
A pose shows the translation of its child node relative to their parent node. For example, all child nodes should be moved seven units relative to the parent node.
An element contains the actual 3D geometry. The 3D geometry can originate from a file, or it can be referenced by an existing Depictor object.
3D view
This is a three-dimensional representation of the Depictor object and the defined Tree structure.
When you select a pose in the Tree, the position or translation of the pose appears as a bright coordinate system in the 3D view.
When you select an element in the Tree, the geometry of the element is displayed as a wire frame model in 3D view.
The following applies within the 3D view:
Right-click and drag in order to rotate the view.
Press [Shift] and right-click and drag in order to move the view in the direction perpendicular to the camera X/Y-plane.
Rotate the scroll wheel in order to zoom into or out of the view. The current zoom factor is shown in the upper left window.
Press Shift and rotate the scroll wheel in order to move the view in the direction of the camera (Z-axis).
Properties view
Here you can edit the properties (in the unlicensed CODESYS Depictor viewer) of the element or pose that is selected in the Tree.
Pose

Coordinate system, Draw coordinate system: When you select this option for a pose, the coordinate system for the position and transformation is displayed continuously, regardless of the selection in the tree structure.
Element

Interface variables: If another Depictor object is referenced in the edited element where input variables are referenced, then you can assign local variables to these input variables. All input variables appear on the left that are available in the referenced Depictor object (Interface variable column). On the right, you see the assigned local variables (Value/Variable column). Edit the entries of the assigned variables by double-clicking them.
