Deployment

This dialog is only available for toplevel module instances and provides application and task settings.

Application: Entered as a generation target in the toplevel module instance. The _cds_icon_three_dots.png button can be used to select an existing application or create a new application by specifying a name. If the application is assigned to the POU pool, then I/O mapping is not possible. In the case of decoupled modules which have a parent module, the parent application is suggested ([Use parent application]).

Standard Tasks

In this section there are up to three predefined tasks available – one task with high priority, one with medium priority and one with low priority. The name and the availability of the tasks are defined in the module itself and cannot be changed (in the dialog above: Fieldbus task and Standard task). In addition to the predefined tasks, the user can create a new task by specifying a name if the "CREATE_IF_MISSING" flag is set in the module declaration. The parameter of the new task can be defined in the Standard generator settings.

Module specific Tasks: This field displays information about module specific tasks.
