Licensing in CODESYS

CODESYS packages which extend the scope of the CODESYS Development System are usually activated with a workstation license. In addition to that, SL packages extend the scope of CODESYS Control runtime systems. These are activated with a single-device license.

Licensing is performed using different tools, depending on the product, the operating system of the controller, the licensing target, and the type of license.
