How To: Activate a license on another computer
These instructions explain how to transfer a license of the CODESYS Professional Developer Edition from one computer to another computer.
This option is exclusively available to the CODESYS Professional Developer Edition. This license can be transferred to another computer one time within a billing period or a subscription period (1 year).
If you want to use other products on different computers, then you need to install these on a CODESYS Key.
Open the CodeMeter License Central WebDepot in your browser.
Enter the ticket number of the license which you want to transfer and click NEXT.
The licenses of the ticket will be displayed in the Licenses dialog.
Click the RESTORE LICENSES button.
In the Restore Licenses – Select the Container Type for Your Licenses dialog, select the CmActLicense container type.
Select the container where you want to transfer the license to.
Accept the conditions and click RESTORE SELECTED LICENSES NOW.
The online license transfer will begin.
Please wait until the transfer has completed. This may take a few minutes.
The license has been successfully transferred.
The original container is registered on a blacklist. Activating a different license in this container is no longer possible.
