Command: Reindex

Function: The command rebuilds the index file of the test repository. This is necessary if the project and database are inconsistent. Inconsistencies occur when the CODESYS Test Manager modifies a test script remotely.

Call: Test Manager menu

Requirement:

  • The Test Scripts node is selected in the Test Manager view, on the Test Scripts tab.

  • The Test Reports node is selected in the Test Manager view, on the Reports tab.

Tip

We recommend calling Reindex if a test repository is managed in a version control system (for example, SVN) and the CODESYS Test Manager has modified the database remotely by commands such as Update or Checkout.
