Command: Show Interpolation Points
Symbol:
Function: The command activates and deactivates the display of interpolation points.
Call: menu
Requirement: A CNC path is open in the editor.
If the display of interpolation points is activated, then the CNC path is displayed with interpolation points.
The cycle time, which is set in the dialog of the CNC settings on the Preinterpolation tab is used to determine the interpolation points. In addition, this function determines whether or not a CNC path is displayed with preprocessing in the editor.
Display in the graphical editor
An interpolation point is displayed with a line perpendicular to the direction of motion. The length of the line is proportional to the current path velocity. This makes it possible for a rough estimate of the behavior of the velocity.

Larger distance and long line | High velocity |
Smaller distance and short line | Low velocity |
Red | The interpolator is decelerated. |
Green | The interpolator is accelerated. |
Gray | The interpolator has a constant velocity. |
