CIFX-PB – PROFIBUS Master
CODESYS supports the CIFX-PB PC card from Hilscher.
Below the PROFIBUS Master, insert the PROFIBUS Slaves and Modules which you have installed to the device repository by means of GSD import. In the editor dialogs, you set the typical PROFIBUS parameters and I/O channels.
Tip
Click Scan for Devices to add PROFIBUS Devices automatically below the PROFIBUS Master in the device tree.
The CIFX PROFIBUS Master firmware (version V2.8.0.0 and higher) supports CODESYS Redundancy. In the Redundancy Configuration editor, on the Redundancy Settings tab, on the General subtab, select the Profibus option.
In addition, in the Redundancy Configuration editor, on the Registered Areas tab, add the output data area (%Q) of the Profibus Master to the synchronized data area.
