Command: Compare Installations

Function: The command opens the Compare Installations dialog. Here you can select two installations to compare the add-on versions they contain. The detected add-ons and their versions are then listed and compared below the selected installations.

Call: _inst_icon_selection_down_arrow.png list box of the Add Installation button in the Installations view.

List boxes for the two installations to be compared. As an alternative to directly selecting a listed installation, you could also use the _inst_button_dots.png button to select an installation configuration file in the local file system.

The result of the comparison "left installation" - "right installation" is displayed below the selected installations. The following differences between the add-ons found are highlighted in color:

  • Green: Only in the left installation

  • Blue: Only in the right installation

  • Black: Installed in both installations

  • Red: Installed in different versions
