Command: License Repository

Symbol: _cds_icon_cross_references.png

Function: The command opens the License Repository dialog for viewing information about individual licenses.

Call: Tools menu

Requirement: CODESYS is in offline or online mode.

In the license repository, you find information from the central license server about licenses according to ticket number.

You can specify the ticket number(s) from the clipboard or import a text file.

Licenses

If you select an entry in the ticket list, then the name and status of the licensed components are displayed here.

icon_lic_ok.png: The license is available and valid.

icon_lic_invalid.png: The license has been found, but it is invalid.

icon_lic_missing.png: The license was not found.

On the right side of the dialog, you get information about the license:

Name: Name of the product to be licensed

Item number: Item number on the license server

Return allowed: It is possible to have this license deactivated for it to be activated again on another system.

Can be activated: You can get the license activated in the License Manager.

Number of activations: Previous number of successful activations

Activation date: Date of the current activation

Import Tickets

The default dialog opens for searching the local file system. If you open a text file that includes one or more "tickets" with license numbers, then these are imported to the repository. Alternatively, you could also paste the numbers to the list from the clipboard.
