Command: Download Missing Device Descriptions

Function: The command opens the Download Missing Device Descriptions dialog for downloading the device description which is missing. The device description and the download server are displayed in the dialog.

Call: Context menu of the device in the device tree whose device description is missing. In the device tree, this device is flagged with a question mark ().

Requirement: The device description of the device is not available in the device repository.

Missing device descriptions can also be downloaded via the Device Repository.

The download servers for the device descriptions are configured in the CODESYSoptions in the Device Description Download category.
