Table 18. Services

The following options are also available in the context menu (right-click). Multiselection of devices is possible by holding down the Shift key.

Start All

Starts all listed services

Stop All

Stops all listed services

Start Selected

Starts the selected service

Stop Selected

Stops the selected service

Product

Name of the service

State

Current status of the service

Refresh

Gets the latest status of all elements and refreshes the tables

Duplicate

Creates a new instance based on the currently selected service

Export

Creates an export file in ZIP format. This contains the currently selected instance.

Import

Opens a dialog for importing a previously generated export file

Stops all listed VPLCs

Start Selected

Starts the selected VPLC

Stop Selected

Stops the selected VPLC

Instance

Name of the VPLC

State

Status of the VPLC

Product

Type of VPLC (runtime, safe runtime, Edge Gateway, time provider)

Dependencies

Other instances on which the selected instance depends. These other instances are started before the selected instance and stopped after it.

Opens the Add New Instance dialog

Delete individual or all instances.

A running instance cannot be deleted."Purge" deletes all instances and installed images.

Refreshes the current status of all elements



Table 20. Actions

Different commands are displayed depending on the selected element.

Show Log

Displays the log of the respective element

Disable Bootapplication

Disables the boot application of the runtime

Open WBM

Opens CODESYS Web Based Management in the browser

Change Service User

Opens a dialog to change the runtime user

License Container Settings

Displays a dialog where you can change the container type used between EWF and UFC

A dynamic list of all options for the selected element. A detailed description of the respective options can be found in the chapter Configure and Extend

Save

The command is enabled as soon as a setting is changed and no errors have been detected in the configuration.



Table 22. Add New Instance

Name

Name of the new instance

Filter

Filter for the list of available images

Image

List of available images

OK

Enabled when an image has been selected and a valid name has been specified. The new instance is created and displayed.

Cancel

Closes the dialog; no changes are made.



Table 23. Configure Nic

Available Adapters

The adapters currently available on the system. When an adapter has already been mapped to an instance, a short note is displayed in this list.

Map to Instance

Determines whether this adapter is mapped to the currently selected instance

Adapter

Cannot be modified Shows the name of the selected adapter

IP

IP address of this adapter in the container. When this value is specified, the mask must also be specified.

Mask

Network mask of this adapter in the container. When this value is specified, the IP address must also be specified.

Identify

When an adapter has been selected, this button flash the network lamp on that adapter for a few seconds. This function must be supported by the driver. If this is not the case, then an error will be displayed.



Table 24. Manage container networks

Network list

List of existing networks. By selecting a network and clicking Select, the network for the instance will be selected.

Clicking the icon will enable the input fields on the right side. This allows a new network to be configured. By clicking Save, the network is created and ready to be used.

When an item is selected in the network list, this button can be used to delete the network.
