View: Security – Signing Requests

Function: In this view, the signing requests of a PLC are displayed and new signing requests can be created for a PLC.

Search

Searches the displayed PLCs for those whose device name, CSR file name, or use case contains the string specified in the search field

Filter PLCs

Filters the listed CSR files by the selected PLCs

Refreshes the list with the CSR files of the PLCs which are selected in the Filter PLCs list box.

cas_icon_add_with_circle.png

Opens the Add Signing Requests dialog.

Encoding for transfer

Encoding for the transfer of signing requests

  • .der: Files are encoded in binary

  • .pem: Files are encoded in text form

cas_icon_download_cert.png

Transfers the selected signing requests of the PLC to the download folder of the computer.

cas_icon_delete_black.png

Deletes the selected signing requests on the PLC.

Use Case

List box of possible applications on the PLC

Multiselection is possible.

Device Name

Name of the PLC

Status

  • cas_icon_ok_green.png: The signing request has been successfully created.

  • cas_icon_skip.png: The signing request could not be created successfully (for example, if the PLC is not connected).

Add Signing Requests

Creates a new signing request on the PLC.

When the operation has been performed successfully, the cas_icon_ok_green.png symbol is displayed in the Status field.

Transfer Signing Request from Device

The command copies the file to the download folder of the computer. If there are more than one file, then the files are bundled in a ZIP file.

Requirement: The Add Signing Requests command has been executed successfully and the cas_icon_ok_green.png symbol is displayed in the Status field.
