View: Applications – CODESYS Projects

Function: The view shows all CODESYS projects and their boot applications that exist on the CODESYS Automation Server. In addition, it provides information and commands for the projects and boot applications.

Call: CODESYS Automation Server → Applications

Input field for the search

When you type one or more characters into the search field, the view lists the projects whose name or commit message contains that search string.

The display for the respective project is extended and shows all applications that the project contains.

Project

Name of the project on the server

On the Automation Server, there is a current commit of the project which is not yet installed on the PLCs.

Commit

Displays the latest commit

The commit is referred to as the commit message that was entered in CODESYS Development System when the project was committed to the server.

When you click in the input field, it turns editable and all commits of the project are listed. You can select a specific commit from the list box, or you can type in a string to search in the commit messages of the project.

A Git repository exists for the CODESYS project.

Click the icon to display the available Git repositories. Click a displayed Git repository to open it.

Hide commits without apps

_cas_icon_option_activated.png: The commits, for which no application was transferred to the server or the application was deleted afterwards, are not displayed.

Opens the CODESYS Development System, opens the Automation Server – Sign In and Checkout from Server dialogs, and then opens the project in CODESYS

Opens the <project> Permissions dialog to grant permissions for access to the project

Opens the Delete Project dialog for prompting whether the project should be deleted

  • Delete: The project will be deleted on the CODESYS Automation Server.

  • Close: The project will not be deleted.

Applications: Information and buttons

Clicking the application name opens the Application view. In this view, commands are provided for deployment and handling of the application on the PLCs.

Opens the Delete Application dialog for prompting whether the application should be deleted

  • Delete all applications

    • _cas_icon_option_activated.png: All versions of this application of the project should be deleted on the server.

    • _cds_icon_option_deactivated.png: Only this version of the application of the project should be deleted on the server.

  • Delete: The versions of the application on the CODESYS Automation Server are deleted.

  • Close: The versions of the application on the CODESYS Automation Server are not deleted.
