Command: Enable/Disable URL handler (requires admin permissions)

Function:

  • The Enable URL handler (requires admin permissions) command activates the URL handler if it has not been activated automatically with the installation of CODESYS. The URL handler is enabled automatically by the installation of CODESYS in version V3.5 SP16 and higher.

  • The Disable URL handler (requires admin permissions) command disables the URL handler if it has been enabled by means of the Enable URL handler (requires admin permissions) command. The URL handler is enabled automatically by the installation of CODESYS in version V3.5 SP16 and higher.

Call: CODESYS menu: Project → Automation Server

Requirement:

  • The CODESYS Development System with a version before V3.5 SP16 is installed.

  • The CODESYS Development System has been started by an administrator.

  • The CODESYS Automation Server Connector package with version 1.8.0.0 or higher is installed.

When the URL handler is enabled, the CODESYS project can be opened by clicking the _cas_img_open_codesys.png button from the CODESYS Automation Server in the CODESYS Projects view.
