This library implements the FailsSafe over EtherCAT (FSoE) protocol stack for CODESYS Safety SIL2 according to the ETG-specification ETG5100.

The implementation is done as an external library, i.e. the FBs as well as the functions of the FBs are implemented as a component of the CODESYS Control SIL2 runtime.

Incoming FSoE PDUs can be processed and outgoing FSoE PDUs can be created accordingly. The transport layer for FSoE PDUs has no safety requirements and can be freely chosen. The FSoE PDUs are transmitted from the unsafe context. The transmission is not part of the library and must be implemented by the user of this library.

Note: All FBs and methods of the CmpFSoE Base library shall be called in safe context!
