Configuring Trusted Certificates

To classify a PLC certificate as trusted, you can move it to the Trusted Certificates category on the Devices tab of the Security Screen. This applies to Own Certificates as well as currently Untrusted Certificates or Certificates in Quarantine.

Note that a certificate which is classified as trusted does not necessarily have to be CA-signed. However, CA-signed encryption is requested by default for communication between CODESYS Development System and the PLC in the CODESYS environment.
