Element: Note

With the Note element, you can insert a commenting text in the editor of a class diagram or statechart.

Action

Description

  1. In the ToolBox view, select the Note _uml_icon_note.png element.

  2. In the editor, click the desired insertion location, or drag the Note there.

    The note element is inserted.

  3. Double-click the text in the element and replace the text with the desired text.

The cursor is displayed as a _uml_cursor_not_allowed.png prohibition symbol at insertion locations which are not permitted.

The cursor is a _uml_cursor_allowed.png blue cross at permitted locations.

Currently, only one-line notes are possible.
