Command: Grid enabled, Grid disabled

Symbol: _uml_icon_grid_disabled.png, _uml_icon_grid_enabled.png

Function: The command switches on/off the grid in the class diagram or statechart. The command name also changes and indicates the current enable state: _uml_icon_grid_enabled.png Grid enabled oder _uml_icon_grid_disabled.png Grid disabled.

When the grid is enabled, an element is aligned with the grid when the position is changed. The Snap to grid option (which means the same thing) is selected in Tools → Options → UML → General. When the grid is disabled, an element can be positioned anywhere. The UML option is disabled.
