Overview

The SoftMotion cam is integrated in the user interface of CODESYS. In the cam editor, cams and tappets can be implemented graphically or by means of tables. As soon as code is generated for the corresponding application, global data structures ("Cam Data") are created which the IEC program can access. For this purpose, the SM3_Basic is also automatically linked into the project when inserting a SoftMotion drive.
