Possible States

When the application (SafetyApp) is executable and has been downloaded to the EtherCAT Safety Module, the state of the application and the safety POUs is displayed in square brackets in the device tree when logged in with standard application.

. The "unknown" state is displayed in the following cases:
  • The IODrvEL6900 library is not up-to-date. It must be V3.5.6.0 or higher.

  • The application for the EtherCAT Safety Module in CODESYS does not match the application on the module.

  • The EtherCAT stack is not yet running on the standard controller after downloading or resetting the application.
