Function: The editor is used to create and edit a package.

Call: Tools menu

Structure of the editor:

When you create a new package, the package tree in the view on the left side automatically contains the required objects: General, Component, String Table, File Table, Package References, Release Notes, and Third Party Licenses. Below, Component, Packages References, Release Notes, and TargetDirectoryDefinitions, you can use the Add command in the context menu to add more package elements. The options depend on the element in the package tree which is currently selected. It is possible to open an existing CODESYS project archive to add all contained components into the current package configuration.
