CODESYS PROFINET

PROFINET (Process Field Network) is an industrial Ethernet standard widely used in the field of manufacturing and process automation. It is managed by the user organization PI (PROFIBUS&PROFINET International) and is considered the successor of PROFIBUS (see https://www.profibus.com/).
