Standard Menu in the Devices View, POUs View, and Modules View

The Devices, POUs and Modules views each get a _cds_icon_drop_down_menu.png button in the upper right corner for opening a menu with the following commands:

  • icon_performaction.png Open in editor: Opens the POU, which is selected in the view, in the corresponding editor

  • icon_findobject.png Find object: Opens the Find Object dialog for the object tree in the view

    When you starting typing in a string, the current search results are always displayed with the name and path. You can use the Open button to open a selected search result in the respective editor.

  • Sort by type: Sorts the objects in the view alphabetically by type

  • Sort by name: Sorts the objects in the view alphabetically by name

  • Sort ascending: Displays the sorting selected above in ascending order

  • Sort descending: Displays the sorting selected above in descending order

  • Track active editor: CODESYS selects the object, which is open in the currently active editor, in the object tree of the view.
