Dialog: Device Conversion

Function: The dialog defines how references to devices which are no longer available should be handled.

Call: When opening a CoDeSys V2.3 project in V3, the dialog opens when the converter detects the reference of a device which cannot be used anymore.

Tip

A CoDeSys V2.3 project can be converted into a CODESYS V3 project only if the CODESYS V2.3 Converter package is installed in CODESYS V3. The package is available in the CODESYS Store International.

Use the following device that has already been installed	CODESYS replaces the previously used device in the device tree with another device. The Browse button opens a dialog for selecting from the local device repository.
Ignore the device. All device specific objects will not be available in the new project	The device entry with all objects inserted below it is removed from the device tree.

Remember this mapping for all future occurrences of that device

The settings made here in the dialog are saved in the CODESYS options, in the CoDeSys V2.3 V2.3 Converter, category. As a result, they are also valid for future project conversions.
